Sheep and Beef Farm Manager

Our client operates a sheep and beef operation located in the heart of the King
Country just 20 minutes north of Taumarunui. Due to the Manager of some
40 years moving into retirement the opportunity has arisen for someone new
to step into this role and take a great farm to the next level.

The Role
You will be in charge of leading the team of three staff to maximise the
performance of the 16,500su property. The operation has a 55:45 sheep
to cattle ratio based primarily around strong genetic performance from the
breeding stock.

You will have a supportive team at all levels from governance, advisory and
administration to work with to ensure that the operation can achieve its
goals.

This role would suit someone looking to take an opportunity in fine tuning
a strong performing farm. You will have strengths in team management,
maximising stock performance, utilising the latest technology, planning,
organisation and communication with the wider team.
