Papatu Station is seeking an individual who is motivated and open-minded, to

You will oversee a team of 2 full time labour units, handling diverse tasks and
responsibilities with opportunities for learning, growth, and contributing to the
station's success.

About the role.
In this role, you will support your team's growth and contribute to the success of our business.
The responsibilities include:

• Leading and motivating a team of people.
• Planning and carrying out the day-to-day operational aspects of the stock and
• pastoral management.
• Supporting the Supervisor and Owner in planning farming operations.
• Recording and managing farm data.
• Driving innovation and improving processes to optimise farm performance.

reliable team of working dogs.

What skills/attribute you'll bring:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build strong professional connections with the owner, supervisor and your team.
• A passion for animal welfare, pasture management, and planning.
• Leadership skills with a strong commitment to mentoring, training, and supporting staff.
• High motivation, efficiency, and commitment to safety.
• The ability to competently use systems such as Farmax and Farm IQ.
• Experience is preferred, but training will be available for the right candidate.

The Farm.
This iconic breeding/finishing station in Manutuke, Gisborne, currently runs 400 plus
Angus breeding cows/heifers and 5,000 ewes, with replacement stock.
