Farm Manager | Woodleigh Belgian Blues

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to manage a truly unique and progressive beef breeding operation – the home of the renowned Kiwi Blues.

We’re seeking a motivated and experienced individual to take the reins of this quality-assured 338 hectare property, home to up to 600 pedigree beef cattle. This role offers the chance to be at the forefront of high-performance cattle genetics and play a leading role in the ongoing development of a nationally recognised stud herd.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Daily management and care of a large, elite herd of breeding cattle.
  • Implementation of breeding programmes, herd recording, and performance monitoring
  • Pasture management, stock nutrition, and animal health
  • General farm maintenance, infrastructure upkeep, and seasonal planning

We Are Looking For Someone With:
  • A broad range of livestock farming skills
  • A genuine passion for cattle breeding and genetic improvement
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on animal welfare and performance
  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to commit fully to the operation
